I still can’t bring myself to start the season up again. I tried episode 3 a few weeks ago and turned it off like half way through.
I can imagine most major series renewals are probably delayed pending the Paramount merger with Skydance
I honestly think the first half of the season isn't thaaaat bad. I do wish some characters in the adult timeline stuck around longer
My guess is season 4 hasn’t been confirmed yet bc they’re trying to negotiate renewal for 4 & 5 together
Collider did some great interviews with cast members after episodes 9 and 10 of anyone’s interested. Liv Hewson’s specifically has a lot of insight into improv moments, how they built the character from the ground up, some wardrobe and makeup details and stuff. Lots of cool behind the scenes tidbits
I burned through all three seasons over the past few weeks and really enjoyed just about everything. The first chunk of season 3 definitely felt off tonally to me, but it picked up by the end.
with the whole five season plan they have i was hoping they'd be renewed for seasons four and five at the same time but knowing they'll be coming back at all is definitely good news!
I kinda stopped watching this season around halfway through because I was extremely bored with it, wondering now if I was too harsh and it's worth finishing
you weren't too harsh - the first half of the season kinda sucked. but the second half def brings it back
It picks up around episode 6 (something pretty cool happens). Started to kinda lose me again a few episodes later. Then I think the ending of the finale was pretty good. Gears starts moving in the past arc in an interesting way.
Yellowjackets co-showrunner Jonathan Lisco signs multi-year exclusive deal to develop series for Warner Brothers Television and HBO Max. He will continue to consult and EP for season 4 of Yellowjackets.
Was really wanting it to run five seasons so we would have plenty of time to see both the lead-up to the rescue and the girls’ readjustment to society (plus whatever is happening in the adult timeline) Anyway, not totally surprised given the pace at which the seasons have been filmed and released plus since a lot of the teen cast is in their 30s now
feels like it's already overstayed its welcome so hopefully they can get back on course now that the end is in sight
