Just learned Kevin Alves was in a few Degrassi episodes in 2012. I can’t believe I didn’t notice the last time I rewatched them

Rewatching the most recent episode, did anyone else catch that they’ve hinted a few times now that Van is counting cards? Once the finale airs, I wanna go back and rewatch the whole series. Seems like there’s a bunch of stuff from season one in the adult timeline that hits different after this season

 

They definitely suggest she's been practicing with them in some way, whether it's dealing from the bottom, false shuffles, etc.

 

Doesn't Teen Tai also throw that in her face during an argument or something too?

 

When Tai pulls the card to kill Ben, Van tells her “I wish I could’ve told you not to pull that card.” Adult Van also stops Shauna when she’s shuffling in the season 2 finale. So there’s definitely something there

 

what exactly would that indicate or matter if she was

 

not trying to be snarky or a dick i just don’t get what the significance of that to their character would really be

 

It would mean Van (and possibly Tai) have control over who gets hunted

 

Yeah, it basically turns Tai into shadow president of the group while Shaunda just goes berserk.
