That’s probably part of why they made the decision. If they’re believing that the woods decide and can trade one life for another, I wonder if they’re going to bring up Shauna’s baby. I guess you could argue Shauna survived and that’s that. And also it doesn’t ultimately matter. Very nervous to see how this plays out in the present timeline next week
So like Shauna is the absolute worst right? (Not like that she's not a good character) like she's the def the biggest villain. Kid and adult
After this episode and watching the promo for the finale I am now even more convinced there is going to be some kind of tragedy with major loss of life at Lottie's compound. Maybe not Waco type scenario, but I think a lot of those Purple shirts including Lisa are going to die.
Ohhhhhhh my god. The card drawing scene was so tense. Felt sick. Wondering if they’re going to lie to Travis and tell him that Javi fell through and they just couldn’t save him in time. Also, looking at what seems to be far ahead in later seasons/maybe next season, Pit Girl certainly seems like it’ll be Mari at this point. I’ve seen a theory floated around that Misty’s oddly satisfied look after they eat Pit Girl is because she hates Mari and, given how calculated she is, she possibly stacked the deck to ensure Mari’s the one who draws the card. I’m…pretty in on that theory.
that makes sense, also i’m glad you said her name bc i was thinking she was laura lee this whole time i need to rewatch s1
the preview also made it look like travis participates but i’m guessing that will be a dream/fake-out
Yeah, I can see that, but I could also see them trying to go with ”well we wanted to kill and eat Natalie and then your brother fell through while we were chasing her on the ice and by the time we pulled him up he had drowned already so, you know, the wilderness chose, Trav. What can we say? Now would you like an arm or a leg?” and then him just not buying that at all.
Also, now seems like a good time to bring these interviews from the beginning of the season back up: Is there one thing on the Reddit boards you read that you really enjoyed? Oh, gosh. So many things. I really can’t say if they’re true or not. But, they’re not. Nobody has gotten it right yet. There are a lot of theories out there. I think what people are going to see is actually going to blow their minds. And some people are going to hate us. Some people are going to fucking hate us by the end of the season, I think, unfortunately. The adult storyline is tough. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/t...-taissa-cliffhanger-car-crash-1235365386/amp/ Just how extreme will it get? Talking to EW a few days after wrapping season 2, Ambrose still hasn't quite decompressed from the experience of her final days on set. "It was just so intense," she says of making the finale. "How are we ever going to recover from that?" Kessell's still working on it. After grabbing a glass of wine at the airport on her way home from filming, she admits, "I feel like I've been in a car accident. I'm still, like, shaking from it. It's insane." 'Yellowjackets' cast says season 2 is 'so intense'
See idk haha I'm starting to get her and her whole "logical. Does what needs to be done" mentality. At first she came off as absolutely insane (she doomed them all in the beginning) but she seems like the most with it out of the bunch....and is just doing what she has to to stay alive Shauna is just full of shit and tries to act innocent. Always
I don’t know, that’s equally as unsettling to me. Not saying Shauna isn’t the worst, just that there’s a strong case for most of them at this point
All i know is Christina Ricci is typically my favorite part of this show, even more so when sharing a scene with Elijah Wood. Got us through an incredibly shaky first half of the season, imo.
she is not gonna make it out of the finale alive. The purpose of her character this season is to give Nat a glimpse of hope, and then break her even more at the end
I really like this theory, but I just thought of something to take it one step further is there aaaaaany way that that they similarily stacked the deck against Nat? I know that Van dealt the cards, and I don’t know what their motivation would be, but if Misty and/or Van did that and Nat finds out in present day, it could lead to some major drama!
Saw someone pointed out that when they first found the deck of cards there was no queen of hearts and then Javi found it at some point. Great detail
