* State Senator And for some reason only state legislator in the entire country who people on the street actually recognize. Like this show takes place in an alternate universe where the average person knows who their state reps are lol
Lol wow. Silly me on saying mayor. State senator.... I'm surprised that entire angle has taken a back seat for now.
You don’t get sworn in as state Senator for a bit probably, makes sense to shove it on a back burner. I think being a Yellowjacket and having commercials everywhere would make her pretty recognizable locally.
Also it's the New Jersey suburbs you know they're like we have a black lesbian senator problem solved I'm going to make her so uncomfortable
Not enough people are talking about Jeff sitting alone in his car in the police station parking lot blasting Fuck Tha Police by NWA.
Also definitely spoiled this last episode for myself intentionally. My wife and I had a miscarriage last year at 20 weeks and it is still very raw, and I knew that this one would have some potential to be triggering. Such a devastating episode, but also so well done
Jeff and Randy are collectively the most "Dudes Rock" characters I think I've seen on a tv show in recent memory.
Randy’s delivery of, “What the fuck?!” after being slapped by Walter earlier this season is so goddamn funny.
I was really worried Jeff was not going to be able to handle the affair and subsequent murder after how rough of a go he was having early on. And I keep thinking he is going to go off the handle or lose it at any given moment (i.e. at Shauna or the cop at the gym). But he keeps surprising me and somehow having major success deflecting everything wrench thrown at him. He's also hilarious. The scene at the cafe from the last episode, I think, where he's talking about the strawberry lube was fucking golden.
honestly not too invested in the state senator stuff compared to Taissa and Van being Taissa and Van, goddamn they have A+ chemistry. I'd have watched them drive that car around the state for 3 episodes definitely agree with the Shauna/moustache cop storyline being an absolute drag though. thankfully even the writers seem to be done with that just getting her to the compound in like half a minute of screen time lmao
I think they traveled like an hour or so. From Wiskayok, their fictional town in North Jersey, to Cherry Corners which is a fictional town in upstate NY.
