Also I like that .They didn't pull a Lost and they introduced the other Yellowjacket survivors as characters this season in a way that felt natural and not forced. I actually think one of them was one of the non-speaking background actors last season
The scene where Jeff is in his van punching his steering wheel while listening to Last Resort by Papa Reach had me howling
the second best scene with that song I've seen lately #1 is Christopher Abbott in the On the Count of Three
Misty is continuing to be the most entertaining character on TV currently. The scene where she angrily and dramatically downvotes that Reddit post was also so funny.
I wish a little more happened, but yeah that Reddit scene was great. All the modern day stuff is still way more boring, the daughter character seems like she’ll fuck everything up. Also I definitely think Javi is still alive. Lottie hasn’t been wrong yet and there’s something about the trees, both them resisting snow in one scene and in a vision for Travis.
Good premiere. Papa Roach needle drop was hilarious. There's definitely more intrigue with what's going on with the past stuff, but the adult cast for the present day stuff is great so I don't mind. Lewis and Ricci are just too fun to watch, and I can't wait until Ambrose and Wood get into the mix.
With how many reaction YouTube channels there are I am disappointed how few of them have caught on to this show. The big ones that react to every mediocre MCU and Star Wars show like Reel Rejects, Blind Wave, and Normies have been silent on this. The only group of reactors I have seen that have really jumped on board the Yellowjackets train so far is the small community of queer horror YouTube channels.
not this season starting with Sharon Van Etten's Seventeen, one of my favourite songs of all time god i love this show
glad we finally got theater kid representation with Crystal they're from New Jersey there was bound to be at least one
Not enough people talking about how the daughter in this episode was watching the most iconic moment in Challenge history.
Wait Callie has been an early 20's college student this entire time? I thought she was 17 year old high school senior or something. That scene with her drinking in a bar really confused me until she said she was at her last year at Rutgers.
The scene where they finally go full on cannibalism on Jackie's burnt corpse to Radiohead's Climbing Up The Walls was incredibly well done.
