I hope this gets a lot more people on board now that I think its lost the "oh it is just girl Lord Of The Flies?" perception people had a first glance. Having to explain to people it is "actually more like if Lost meets an A24 horror movie but also campy" took a lot during season 1.
Still love how they played Jackie’s death. Teenage girls making the mistake of playing by high school rules instead of survival. Excited to see how that changes the dynamic
Also if that needs to be spoiler tagged then the multiple public casting posts that give away the major twist at the end of season one also need to be spoiler tagged.
anyone who is frequenting a tv show thread, but isn't personally caught up with the show, it's on them if they see something
Yeah I think it’s on the person who decides to read a thread of an established show but has yet watched a single episode if they get spoiled lol
I think it's more than fair to spoiler tag before a second season premieres. Some people may not watch this until right before the second season begins. That happens in the season finale too, so it's not like something that's a given right away.
I think Misty might be my favorite character on any current TV show and I can't wait for Ricci and Hanratty to chew more scenery as her again.
Watching Doomcoming again. I love that this show is so good that it made Jeff being a nice guy and good husband a compelling twist.
I remember reading that in the original draft the "past" in this show was supposed to be the 1970's and the "present" was supposed to be the 1990's. Such a good call to switch it up.
I can't wait for this show to do the Lost thing where next season there will be a whole bunch of new Yellowjackets extras beyond the core 12 that we never seen before that are just there as filler.
One plot hole that always bothered me is Allie being class chairman at the reunion when it was clear in the pilot she was a freshman when they are mostly Juniors/Seniors.
State senate races are a big deal for the people in them and people close to them, it was a pretty realistic portrayal without her having to go to Washington.
I am still confused if Kevin Tan was supposed to be the gangly goth kid in the pilot. He is clearly a different actor than the teen Kevin Tan in then flashback in episode 4.
Yeah but to have photo shoots in regional magazines and getting significant local news coverage still seem a little too much for that seat. Especially talking about smearjobs and polling. Not a big deal though.
