okay but how do her hair and dye job still look perfect after like 4 months in the wilderness, I guess it's realistic that 17 year old girls would overpack for a brief trip but they have so much makeup and product and clothes
i’m not trying to zig but i wasn’t crazy about juliette’s performance. i loved what melanie, tawny and christina were doing, but juliette’s performance felt at times like out of a different show and the only one verging on overacting
In The Wilds, one of the characters has armpit hair in the pilot and maybe the second episode as well and then it’s gone and it cracks me up whenever I do a rewatch. Had to have been a shitty note from Amazon because they do a really good job of making those girls look like they’ve been through it
i loved one of the creator interviews for this where someone was like “on reddit there’s a theory bc misty and adam have the same license plate on their cars” and they were like “yeah we’ve never made a show before it’s a mistake” lol
Keeping track of things like that on a show with several mysteries hanging around has gotta be such a nightmare
yeah that's why I find the anachronisms more funny than like how dare they forget what year The Spice Girls and Bring It On were
Yeah I have a lot of respect for them just owning coincidences and mistakes when they could easily be using some of them to stoke the fires of the mysteries
I'm not sure they would have a problem admitting the journal was also a mistake when they were so open about the plates.
Everything I saw alluded to that being Shauna journaling as Jackie as a way to cope. They owned up to the plates as well as Tawny Cypress’ eyes occasionally looking red as a weird side effect of the colored contacts and her natural eye color under certain light so I definitely believe there’s some truth there. The one thing they’ve said that feels to me like a misdirect is that Adam was just about letting the audience go on the journey of paranoia with Shauna. The back tattoo seems too pointed for him to just be some rando
Vulture did a list of casting ideas and one of the suggestions for Ben was Matthew Perry and I would like a word with whoever came up with that
