Unless I've completely misunderstood something, it's officially released in some countries and there have definitely been similar unofficial streams posted on the main page of AP before.
Hm..I could be misremembering about things being posted on AP, but if it's been released on iTunes elsewhere, is it technically a leak?
Where did he say this? It looks like The Hurt is Gone is the next song being released. Not sure if its a single or not though.
I'm not even slightly a fan of this song. I don't understand why these songs are falling so flat for me. I was into LaS, but this is just weird, I don't know. :(
I haven't listened yet haha, not home at the moment but I'm looking forward to checking it out when I am!
That I'll agree with, but the middle is just...I just don't enjoy it much. I don't know. Maybe it'll grow on me? I've loved everything Yellowcard has put out until now. I just don't feel much for this song.
Wait, is this track 6 minutes or 3 minutes? I just found it on Google Play Music and it says 3:53, but iTunes says 6:25. ??? Haven't listened yet.
Uh... then what's the song on Google Play? It's called The Hurt is Gone. It's 3:53 on Spotify as well.
listened to the new song. I liked it and I think it's something that could fit on Lights and Sounds, but dang.... needs to be shorter and i really wish the chorus sounded bigger instrumentally, especially with how Ryan sings that melody. Kinda makes the whole song a little..meh..the way it is. PS. Really miss LP.
I don't know... I totally respect that the band wanted things to sound like this, but it feels like an important element is deliberately left out of the songs. Where are the crashing instrumentals and soaring choruses? Shouldn't there be a "next level" in there - if not on the first chorus, then at least on the consecutive ones? Maybe they were tired of every Yellowcard song sounding like that, and threw the formula out the window for this album. Everything just feels so monotonous to me.
