You're probably spot on. Where did people see on VK that they attributed the info to a hopeless press release? I can't find that
Lights And Sounds part II... Now, seriously, the cover and the song titles make me think we'll get a dark/autumn album, as everyone is saying. That would be exciting since they only explored that mood all the way through one time during their career. I hope this becomes the 4th straight Yellowcard record that I will hold dear to me. They have been the soundtrack to my life during the last five years.
Album art reminds me of alt-country with a slight Americana/folk tinge to it. Let's get down to our roots, boys!
I wouldn't be surprised if Ryan Mendez took that picture himself. I follow his instagram, and he's a pretty good photographer.
It definitely is. They posted a clip of it awhile back during their studio sessions. I'm sure it will be reworked a bit though, like 'Hide' was.
sadly can't imagine a style in which i'll actually go back to this, which is probably the first time i've ever felt this way for a yellowcard record. we'll see
reread my post. can't imagine any sound a yellowcard record could sound in 2016 that my current music taste would care about. one of my old favorite bands too
Ha, that didn't take long to find. What a great shot. And if it is any indication as to which way this album is headed, I am very excited. Hope we get to hear something soon.
Hate to pose the question, but the self-titled thing made me think of it: Could this be their final album? I wonder what else would prompt a self-titled record other than a reason we may never know within the lyrical content behind the record.
