I'm excited to see what direction this album goes in. Band hasn't slowed down since they came back from hiatus.

 

I have a feeling this album will be more upbeat/positive than Lift a Sail. No matter what they put out, I'm sure I'll love it.

 

Anybody see them at Slam Dunk? Did they mention anything about the new record?

 

Wasn't at Slam Dunk, but people on twitter that went have said they mentioned touring the UK in the Winter - no details on album though.

 

No news/movement recently but I would guess we'll hear something soon. My bet is that they try to get something out before warped.

 

Self-titled? Interesting.

 

Also says release date is 29 September. If i'm translating correctly.

Ya VK is like a Russian YouTube/Facebook mix and I'm not sure how they get these leaks so early but they do.

Those track names make it sound like this is going to be a darker album

Looks like it. And a September 29th release date -- that's really late based on what I was expecting. The album cover and song titles (can't really read into song titles much but..) certainly have a darker vibe to it. Maybe Autumn makes more sense for that.

Great mind! But yeah seems like a darker, possibly religious influenced album? Plus that cloudy album art adds to that. 10 tracks sounds good to me though

 

True that. I just did a thorough google search and can't find one single thing on any webpage online regarding the album, song titles, etc.

No clue where that info came from.

 

Waiting for @FTank and @Craig Manning since they're two more massive Yellowcard fans

 

They wrote (VK fan club) that Hopeless Records had sent the press release.

 

I messaged the band on Twitter to let them know. Same thing happened with LaS and I think SA as well.

 

Must be someone internal then, or someone that is on that mailing list. So I assume information was meant to come out sooner than later, if that is true.

I just always hesitate to post this stuff anywhere besides here because I don't want to ruin anything that the band had planned.

 

Jeez, YC doesn't have good luck with the russian sites haha.

But I'm liking the darker tone of this artwork/song names. Can't wait to see what they've come up with.

Although, Empty Street doesn't have a very dark sound to it, unless they've completely revamped it from the Big If version.

 

Par for the course with the internet, I think. Someone, somewhere will leak information before it is meant to be sent out.

 

It's a pretty dark song on it's own, I think

Yeah true just hate it happened to them again. They seemed really really bummed about the LaS one
