Was just checking out their discography on Wikipedia to see where each album charted. It seems so crazy to me that every album except Lift A Sail peaked higher on the Billboard charts than Ocean Avenue did. Yellowcard discography - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nope. Don't like their first two albums at all, but Lies for the Liars and Vulnerable are half good ish
Haha. I still think that album is near perfect. Probably my favourite screaming ever and just fantastic songwriting front to back.
This isn't the Unpopular music thread guys. The first 2 Used cds are great. I also love Artwork, but the other albums only have a few good songs scattered throughout.
I'm throwing up in my mouth right now. That first album is legit top 10 ever for me. I love their second album too. Everything after just got worse and worse. I'd still probably take anything pre Imaginary Enemy over any SOTY album.
I'd take a single song from that first Used album over everything SOTY have ever released. I think SOTY are a bad band, haha.
The Used are a highly mediocre, extremely overrated band. SOTY was decent, I don't listen to them too much anymore, but they still kick The Used's ass.
Thems fightin words. Honestly I don't really like either band that much but The Used have an album I can listen to front to back and SOTY do not
Ha. I can't claim to have listened to them much. Being from STL, I see their frontman at local shows a lot with the Fuck Off and Dies. But it just seems like people here like SOTY a lot, and they can play a decent-size venue here still. Whereas I've never heard really...anyone else?...be hugely in favor of them.
I am lol! I feel like even if I weren't, they'd still be fav of mine. I love all 4 of their albums, their guitar work is incredible. I don't even have to comment on their live show, everyone already knows. If this thread is becoming Used vs SOTY, we all know the Used can't hold up. Esp after the 2nd album.
