Different strokes, I guess, I think they're ATL's two best albums. Don't Panic isn't my personal favorite, but I really feel like the songs on both DP and FH are better crafted than most of what they had written before.
I think it's interesting how I like all three of these bands but don't really care for any of their first albums. Same for Gaslight Anthem. I'm like the site's resident debut album hater.
Hah, I don't drink alcohol so I'd be 4 diet cokes deep but I'd still be down. There's something fun in just arguing, even if you know it's futile and harmless
I think peoples hate for lights and sounds is becoming stubborn at this point. I simply cannot understand it. Just go into a room or go for a car ride and listen to that album straight through, it is a fucking masterpiece and the amount of people that agree with me is so frustratingly minimal.
Haha, I don't dislike them, I just don't find them particularly interesting. I'm revisiting SA tonight though.
Seriously, the bands I like even a little bit but don't care about their first album: All Time Low Yellowcard Jimmy Eat World Green Day Motion City Soundtrack Fall Out Boy Brand New The Gaslight Anthem Blink-182 The Hotelier La Dispute Manchester Orchestra My Chemical Romance New Found Glory Thats without even thinking about it
Mehhh, don't think it has a single song in their top 50. And believe me, I've tried L&S so many times. It's not for lack of effort. I've listened to it probably more than WYTTSY, and that's a record I actually like.
Literally every album Brian Fallon has made is better than Sink or Swim. Honestly, they aren't a band I ever would have expected you to like. Would not be surprised if you continue disliking Southern Air. Don't think I would disagree with you on any of these, haha.
Why is that? Just wondering what you see in them that you don't think is for me, might give me some insight into why people like them so much.
