Tour opening in ATL tomorrow. LET'S GO!!!!!! Edit: And just saw the #1 for Bedroom Posters. Insane stuff. So cool.
Back from the show, such a blast! Will provide some full thoughts tomorrow but the production was a huge step up and they sounded fantastic as always. New songs all great as well. There’s a moment in this show that completely blew me away and gave me full body chills. Like I will remember it vividly for a long time and now I’m thinking how can I get out to see it again lol. Can’t wait for some of yall to experience it.
First time I’ve missed them as a headliner since prob 2004 and man those deep cuts are making me sad I missed it
Do I spoil myself!? My show is in a month in Charlotte. I kinda want to make sure my son knows all of the lyrics.
As a dad who knew the MCS setlist front to back and played it in order on every drive to school with my 9 year old, who was then blown away when they played “all her favorites,” hell yes you spoil yourself and you prep your son for an awesome night of music.
I'm hearing one of the songs on setlist.fm wasn't played. City of Angles, not City of Devils (it's now updated correctly on setlist.fm)
If you are planning to go to this show, I highly recommend you do NOT watch this video so as not to spoil the surprise. It's genuinely one of the coolest moments of YC live I've ever experienced. Maybe I'm overselling ha but this is my favorite song from the new album and by the time I got over the fact that it was actually being played live, my mind was blown by what they did with the production and arrangement: I'm being weird about spoilers in case folks are trying to avoid them so fill in the missing 'e' in "YouTube" in this link and that should work lol https://youtu.b/XWukQZh3hxA?si=mar2rkoNCSyQAa3D
I'm seeing them in Milwaukee in a week and a bit. I'm coming from Australia to visit my brother who has lived in the US for 13 years, and the timing just lined up perfectly. My first ever show was seeing Yellowcard with him on the Lights and Sounds tour back in '06. This is going to be special.
Traveling to Bend with Hannah, my sister and her boyfriend for this one. Two weeks away. Unbelievably excited. Going to make a car playlist, some awesome cuts on that first night setlist ... I don't think I've ever seen "You and Your Denial" live.
Saw them last night. All three bands killed it. City of Angels felt so electric and awesome. Seeing them perform Lift a Sail felt special. That song and album was a big part of my junior year in college and I love seeing any of it on a set.
Setlist looks good but, if there is only one slot allowed from Paper Walls that should go to "Fighting"
After listening to a lot of stuff Travis has produced….I personally believe that the new YC album is his best produced album to date.
Why the heck don’t they play Gifts and Curses live? Is it true they haven’t played it in like a decade?! That seems crazy to me. It’s always felt like their “Not Now” of the discography. Didn’t quite have a home on an album but it’s absolutely topppppp tier. Ryan, if you’re reading this please play it tomorrow night in Denver :)
I got to see them play that on their farewell tour. That entire setlist was amazing. but if you ask me….I want them to play Date Line and Afraid. Especially Date Line.
Date Line and Afraid were my favorite and most played YC songs for like 10 years. They both absolutely rip. Afraid sounds like it could be a lead single these days. Holds up incredibly well. Btw they have said many, many times that they have no control over what happens with Gifts and Curses, unfortunately. I assume they want it to be available just as much as we do.
