pretty wild turn this has taken. doesnt feel like the best look for Ryan to come back just to kinda shit talk LP when we have literally no reason for him leaving Evergreen Terrace, or leaving YC 15 years ago. im sure there was a reason for it, but i dont think we need Ryan vagueposting on someone who hasnt been in his band in forever.

I have literally NEVER addressed him EVER about anything. He has always initiated it by replying to something I wrote (every time) and things go sideways because of some snarky ass shit he says to me first. But hey...he created a website so fuck everyone else I guess.
I think when you have a rotating door of bandmates and only one constant is in the picture, it's fair to ask questions about maybe the other guys aren't/weren't the problem? Like I said, still love the music (up until Southern Air) but I haven't heard very many, if any, people say bad things about Sean, Ben or LP but I've heard lots of people say things about Ryan. At the end of the day it's all heresay, but where there's smoke there's fire, no?
Well, there's a laundry list of things the trump administration is doing to ruin our country and enrich themselves. We could start with that?
So many keyboard warriors. If YC kicked LP out of the band and hasn’t said a word about it for more than a decade, did you ever think that maybe he did something fucking egregious? Is that too complicated to imagine? The difference between LP and Ryan is that Ryan has been vocal and public about his struggles and improving himself, while LP is bouncing from band to band with the same old story in 2026. The two are not the same. I don’t have a horse in this race but this is not complicated for any rationally minded person to understand

I also don't have a horse in this race but my first instinct is the speed and relative silence with which he was replaced in ET says a lot. Most bands would at least put out a statement thanking someone for their service, but they're not even acknowledging it at all.
