Milwaukee on a weekend! LFG! Will be weird not seeing a show like this at the rave. Interested to see this new venue! @williamryankey i didn’t get good charlotte, but im just as happy with NFG. Cant wait! But if you could let me know when GC might announce US dates, that would be awesome :)
On second thought, I totally didn’t realize this was Memorial Day weekend and Bend show is actually on a Saturday. It’s still a pretty expensive trip requiring an overnight stay, but it might be doable.
See ya’ll in Asbury Park! If there’s no official meetup, happy to get one going pre-show somewhere in town.
Sandy UT!!!! I will be there! Hopefully Here I am Alive and Take What You Want are on the setlist as these are the two songs my kids are obsessed with and will be their first time seeing Yellowcard!
Was really fucking bummed that this tour was not coming here but this makes sense. I just hope they get to play their full sets
Clever! Edit because I don’t want to double post: This will be my son’s first concert. He’s been utterly obsessed with Better Days. We’re in Florida, but I was going to take him up to Cedar Point the weekend of the Florida dates, so I think we will go see family up in North Carolina to align with that show in Charlotte. I’ll take my boy to Carowinds during the day, ride Fury 325 about 50 times, and then scream some Yellowcard that evening. Edit again: I was so tempted to do VIP with my kid, but there’s no way I can justify $900. So we got some tickets in the lower middle for a total of $160 ish for both tickets combined.
I’m not usually big on outdoor shows, but I feel like that would be a better first concert experience for my son who gets overstimulated easily. We were trying to get him a ticket to the Thrice show back in October, but that was a packed indoor venue, shoulder to shoulder. Now I’ve got to decide when to tell him I got tickets for it. It’s close to his birthday in July, but I don’t know if I can keep a secret until June.
Got my Central Park tickets! Will need to run back home the next day for Warped weekend, but wanted to lock in a pure show since I haven’t seen YC since the original reunion tour. Bought 2 but might not be able to convince a friend to join me, so might have one for sale at some point before the show.
Yeah, this was my reaction too. I had the soundcheck VIP tickets in my cart for a few minutes, but the $78 seats were just simply an easy buy. I’ve been desensitized to the increased cost of things I enjoy, this was a welcome relief.
TAI was $52.10 after fees here too. (I was expecting this to be over a hundred and was bracing for that.)
