This is like the fifth time i’ve heard this story but I have no clue what actually happened. I’m assuming things went bad?

My expectations for this are probably unreasonable, Marc and Andrew from Hammock are absolute geniuses! Thank you for dropping this on us and completely making my evening.

 

I'm assuming this collaboration album with Hammock is what they're supposed to announce on GMA but you guys just leaked it?

I can picture hammock versions of all of these EXCEPT OA. Can’t wait to hear it

 

Man, the ticket prices for this tour are a bit crazy. Seattle is $80 for GA before fees. Spokane is $140 before fees for Floor. Bend is $100-120 for ok seats. I might be too skeptical, but I think those prices are going to be a hard pass for some fans. That is double what either band would charge the last time they headlined in those areas.

 

I dont feel as bad about missing it this time then. Last year’s tour was so awesome though.

 

Looks like Cassadee Pope is performing with them on GMA tomorrow, along with a cellist who has been playing with them on every record since Ocean Avenue. Pretty cool!

 

I guess I’m in the minority but i have little to no interest seeing Third Eye Blind. Assuming there’s new music in the works, I may hold out for YC’s next headline tour.

 

I’m the same especially at those prices. I think LN is overplaying their hand with some of these nostalgia tours and YC/TEB have some overlap in fans, but not as much as they think. Can’t see a lot of YC fans paying $100 to see them open for TEB when they just saw them headline last summer and can wait for another tour.

 

exactly my thought process. plus i was blissfully unaware of all that sketchy 3EB stuff until this week..i'm good not giving them my money.

 

the sketchy 3EB stuff has turned me off from seeing them, in addition to how boring I thought they were live. I can wait till YC comes back.

 

If you want to send a message see Yellowcard and leave. Don’t not show to this tour and send bad signals to bookers!! I refuse to let them go away again.

I intend on doing everything I can to help YC keep their momentum going. I missed them dearly during the years they were inactive. I’ll be at these shows and i’ll be bringing a crew with me.

Nah. I’m with you. I know maybe 5 TEB songs well enough to enjoy seeing them played live. That’s not enough for me to go see TEB. The whole shady stuff aside, I just don’t really care for TEB.

With YC opening, it’s likely they would play a set that has the same songs as their headline run last year. Maybe a couple swapped in, but that’s not enough to make me go to this. Although, lawn tickets are only $50. Unless a friend wants to go with me to chill, I’m gonna pass.

Eh, no need to guilt trip people. If people leave after YC, the bookers won’t care. They aren’t the main draw anyway. A low performing show would reflect far more on TEB.
