I haven’t followed SOTY for a while. Why do they only have one guitarist now?

 

It kind of sounds like it a little bit for Story of the Year now. I wonder if it’s where I’m standing.

 

They had more guitarists at all of the shows I saw earlier on this tour. I’m guessing something came up?

 

Adam just said their bassist had to fly out for something but will be back for the next show so their guitar tech is filling in tonight but still just one guitarist. When I saw them at warped like 20 years ago I definitely remember more people on stage doing flips and shit lol

 

Also daily’s place is fuckin awesome

 

I moved to the back left of the pit and it sounds a little better. I think it’s a little too bass heavy. Or my hearing got fucked at last nights show. I don’t know. @shea does it sound good at your seat?

Okay, it was where I was standing. My best guess is that due to the main speakers pointing slightly outwards, there’s a weird spot in the middle of the pit. It sounds much better in the back.

 

I don’t think I know a single mayday parade song which seems weird considering how big they apparently are lol

 

Same. But they sound great. Seems like some solid pop rock. I think they came around when I kind of hit a wall of having too many bands to listen to and decided to not check out as much. Which, in retrospect, was kind of dumb of me.

 

Exact same tbh. I’m enjoying it so far. Dude just brought out a full piano which is always awesome lol

I did listen to their set once earlier this week. That piano song was pretty good.

Haha I think some people just aren’t into it. I sang along quietly because I sang too loud to Starting Line last night and partially lost my voice. Some people were singing down here. But yea, FOB popped off more.
