The ads don’t imply anything but a celebration and it’s this type of entitled attitude that causes many bands to break up/go on hiatus so just be lucky they are touring in any sort of capacity. They usually play at least half the album anyways.
They will probably play some songs from Ocean Avenue, and they will probably play some songs from other albums. Get over it. Personally, I'm stoked to hear a wide variety.
@williamryankey is there an outside shot for OFTK/UD songs at all but more specifically in Jax? I know y’all’s stance in the past is that it kills the vibe which I totally get but it would be pretty cool to hear something (assumedly) one last time.
I mean, not to pile on you, but it really takes no effort at all to think a little before hitting the post button.
The flyer is pretty clearly marketing it as an album show based on basically every other artist who has done an album anniversary tour.
Can always tell I’m missing something extremely important when at least one person I’ve blocked is clearly doing some version of what I probably blocked them for when there’s multiple pages of me not able to follow a thread
A few months ago somebody came in here and complained about the font on Yellowcard’s post for Riot Fest. This is somehow even worse. I’ll leave it at that
After 6 years of no shows you’d rather hear only Ocean Avenue and a 4-5 song encore rather than probably half of OA and songs across other albums as well? Also I don’t think the ad implies anything with regards to what we are playing.
Hi, Ryan, thanks for the reply. Personnaly, yeah... having never heard nearly anything outside of your Bamboozle Left show in 2006. While I've loved pretty much everything else put out since then (and prior to), that is obviously the album that got myself (and I'd argue the majority of your fans, here and otherwise) into. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug. Either way, it's great to see you and your tourmates touring again.
I must mention my love for The Sound Of You And Me! My heart will soar if i hear that one at the show. One of my very favorite songs of the 2010s, that bridge will always give me chills.
I couldn’t imagine having this body of work and having to try to make a set list that makes like 22 years worth of fans happy..lol
