I bought the whole soundtrack years ago, but since other songs aren’t playable, I didn’t think that had anything to do with it. But if it does, apologies for hyping it as being available to everyone.

I remain highly skeptical of any tour, the #staytuned is something they've had up since Riot Fest ended in September. We will see I guess.

I should clarify - I don't think they'll do a full nationwide tour. What I could see them doing is a couple of shows near the Ocean Ave anniversary to celebrate. But who am I to speculate. I'll absolutely be there regardless

 

They’ll definitely tour OA anniversary.

 

Any word on them recording new music together?

 

I personally have not heard anything on that front and continue to think it's unlikely. I've been wrong before though!

 

Cut Me Mick is one of my favorite riffs of all time - stank face forever activated

Seriously, like, it broaches being a metalcore riff, and better than most lol

 

The way that song goes into Paper Walls is so fucking epic too. The guitar just absolutely rips when the song starts after the choir intro. In fact the three song run from Spotlight —> Cut Me, Mick —> Paper Walls is just ridiculous. So sick

 

Yeah, imo their best 3 song run. Paper Walls has an elevated and inspired songwriting choice with the choir. Paper Walls will forever be my favorite YC album, it's pretty solidified at this point

Obviously if they’re this advice on socials, starting a discord, etc they’ve gotta be doing something substantial this year right?

 

I can’t even remember to check out the discords I’m already in. The interface just isn’t appealing to me on mobile, at least. Give me a forum haha! I’m too old for this. It’s cool if people enjoy it though.

 

Yeah, I feel you. I know how to navigate discord with the best of them, I just straight up don’t care for the experience, and busy servers are a nightmare imo. Constant flow of messages and everything moves so damn fast and is so messy. Not for me.

 

It takes some getting used to, but once you figure it out it’s a pretty cool place to chat. You can set up very specific notifications which I enjoy.

 

I know how to use it. I just don’t like the experience. Just doesn’t appeal to me, I guess.

 

I’m inclined to think so, but i’ve got absolutely no clue what’s going on and when/if it’s being announced. We will continue to #staytuned, I guess!
