In 2010 they announced a comeback and plans to record a new record. There was an entire press release and everything. I'm feeling like this one will be one show or maybe a few. Makes the most sense to me at the moment. But who knows!
They did the new shows, and then For You and Your Denial was played at them. I remember having a bootleg version of it in my iTunes.
It’s from the final tour photo shoot, but it’s different than the one they’ve had there for the last 5-ish years
Would like to see these guys settle into a Starting Line-esque mode where they play a couple shows here and there every year when they're able/when they feel up to it. Hopefully this is the start of that.
Awesome, but now I’m even more intrigued!! Is this a one off?? What does it meannnnnn! Excited though. Gonna have to try and make it there somehow.
I'm honestly so overwhelmed by this. Yellowcard has been such an important part of my life and was in their second go-around when I was going through some of my hardest times as a teenager, before breaking up right when I was starting college. Now, I'm moving out from home for the first time ever and leaving my home city permanently and, within a week (I'm legit moving to Chicago on September 12), this incredibly important band is reuniting in the city I'm moving to for the first time in 5.5 years. I can't really afford to travel just to see shows, so in all likelihood, there's little chance I would have been able to go to this had I not been moving. Just an incredible coincidence and will be such a great start to life in a new city
I’d like to thank my girlfriend for bringing this into the universe by throwing me a fake Yellowcard concert LAST WEEKEND for my birthday
Welcome to the city early! There is a Chicago thread in here if you have any questions or need any help/advice!
Well that’s the last time I fly cross country for someone’s final show! Not remotely upset about this news though!
Tickets purchased. Overwhelmed by this. So grateful for the chance to see these guys again and hopeful for whatever the future holds for them. Let’s go.
