Paper Walls Lift a Sail Southern Air Yellowcard Ocean Avenue WYTTSY One for the Kids Lights and Sounds is probably about right for me
I've learned to love them all for different times, places and emotions. Every record these guys have made has a place for me.

Ha, you got me! Honestly, it only bothers me because I used the same typeface when I started “designing” anything and I can’t help but look back on that work and cringe. But my opinion and experience is just that. If you/the band likes it, that’s all that matters. It’s wrong of me to impose. (I try very hard to be positive online! I’m just a dork about type!) I have been owned. Do it again, but make it Papyrus?

Paper Walls Ocean Avenue Southern Air When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes Lights & Sounds Lift a Sail One For the Kids Yellowcard
Paper Walls Southern Air Lift a Sail Lights and Sounds WYTTSY Yellowcard Ocean Avenue One For The Kids Holy shit….haha. It’s funny how bad it looks having Ocean Avenue being ranked so low. I love the album haha. Just shows how strong their discography is. Would still love an acoustic rendition of Paper Walls. What an album. The album has everything you could ask for from these guys. Date Line is my favorite YC song too.
Paper Walls (The Takedown) Ocean Avenue (Empty Apartment) Southern Air (Sleep In The Snow) Lights & Sounds (Rough Landing, Holly) When You're Through Thinking (With You Around) Lift a Sail (Transmission Home) Yellowcard (Empty Street) One for the Kids (Rough Draft) I discovered YC in high school when I first got into music and OA,L&S,PW were very important records for me. I had been playing violin for years at the time and printed out sheet music of every song I could find so I could learn Sean's parts. I don't think any record is anything less than great. Favorite B-sides: Three Fights Down, Bombers, Firewater
Paper Walls - Date Line Southern Air - Southern Air Lift a Sail - Lift a Sail Lights and Sounds - Martin Sheen WYTTSY - Be The Young Yellowcard - Empty Street Ocean Avenue - Way Away One For The Kids - Sure Shot
Favorite B Side? Bombers gets the win for me. Promises a close second. When We’re Old Men gets an honorary mention.
Not going to re-rank the albums, but favorite song from each (very, very hard and may be liable to change): Yellowcard - Place We Set Afire (Fields and Fences or Empty Street could also very easily take this spot) Lift A Sail - Illuminate Southern Air - Surface of the Sun (Sleep in the Snow is a song that has grown on me more and more over the last decade and could take this spot soon) WYTTSY - Sound of You and Me Paper Walls - Paper Walls (could put so many songs here, but this is, imo, the best closer for a band that has so many great closers) Lights and Sounds - Holly Wood Died (actually, scratch the last comment, because this may be my favorite YC song period) Ocean Avenue - Way Away OFTK - Sure Shot Best B side is probably Bombers (Hey Mike is fantastic as well). Finish Line from Underdog EP also has a special place in my heart
Ranking albums was difficult enough, but a few of these song choices were borderline impossible Southern Air (Awakening) Lights and Sounds (Sure Thing Falling) - criminally underrated imo WYTTSY (With You Around) Lift a Sail (Transmission Home) - this album has risen several spots for me since it came out Yellowcard (Fields & Fences) Ocean Avenue (Back Home) Paper Walls (Afraid) One for the Kids (Rough Draft) As for B-Sides, I'd probably say Bombers, but Promises could also take that spot depending on the day
Normally I’m one to like the unpopular record in a discography, but I’ve tried so many times with that one and I just can’t
Leaving Bombers off of Paper Walls had to be a tough call. I’ve always been curious which song made it in favor of that. Maybe Me and You and One Spotlight?
