I remember the band being really bummed about the whole thing. If memory serves me correctly it was Patrick’s label that gave them a problem.
Which considering the song seems crazy they would have any issue. I wonder how Patrick felt about it. You put in the work and label just shuts you down. Greedy label move.
If that version of Here I Am Alive ever got released, isn’t it possible that it’s just background vocals? That would be underwhelming after all this time lol.
Well I assume since Taylor replaced Patrick it would be her part. Which, her version is good too. I just think Patrick helped write it, and he’s a big voice in pop punk still at that point, so it would have been cool to hear forces unite.
Literally the perfect record at the perfect time. They rounded fully into form for Southern Air, it’s still in my rotation consistently. Great memories from the entire time period surrounding its release, too. Takes me right back to that summer.
no joke, this is my favorite record of all time, but this is going to be tough to get. I have an OG black pressing but it sounds like dog shit
Super random pressing numbers, there. I'll never understand why you wouldn't do at least a few thousand of a record like this.
I have an order confirmation screenshot from the site and its on my Apple Card, but haven't had an email yet
