How anyone can list Southern Air as the worst song in any capacity is absolutely beyond my understanding
Regarding Southern Air - Seriously, this band doesn't have too many extended grooves, but letting that riff play out for around a minute at the end really lets the song breathe, and I love it to close the album
One For The Kids - "A.W.O.L." Ocean Avenue - "Life Of A Salesman" Lights And Sounds - "Martin Sheen Or JFK" Paper Walls - "Dear Bobbie" When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes - "Hide" Southern Air - "A Vicious Kind" Lift A Sail - "Crash The Gates" Yellowcard - "I'm A Wrecking Ball"
I like Virtue better, but listen to both of them on a somewhat regular basis and think they're both really good
I enjoy both. Its sort of something calming I throw on in the background and enjoy. I just play them together as an album. Hope he gets some new music soon.
Lists! Yellowcard songs I find to be underrrated: A.W.O.L. One Year, Six Months Sure Thing Falling Fighting See Me Smiling Telescope Crash The Gates What Appears
I'm not doing worst songs because I genuinely like most of the songs on nearly all records, and saying one is the worst when it's still actually a good song feels a bit off.
Worst One for the Kids - Rock Star Land Ocean Avenue - Believe Lights & Sounds - Words, Hands, Hearts Paper Walls - Dear Bobbie When You're Through Thinking - Be The Young (what a terribly generic closer) Southern Air - Here I Am Alive Lift a Sail - the whole record is pretty awful but probably One Bedroom? Also, that album art - woof Yellowcard - Leave a Light On
Hahahah do you like the cover art?? It looks like a C-list Disney channel artist cover to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Idk I think it looks gorgeous. It'd just look better if the band/album names weren't that prominent, or with a different typography
I don't know yet. I'm not familiar enough with their early records to recall every song just by their titles so I need to give them another listen this week. From Paper Walls onwards I've got some ideas.
