Personally, a few songs are just overplayed and some are just cringe to listen to - namely Twentythree, Only One, Believe, and View From Heaven.

With all that said; about half of the record still holds up for me pretty well.

 

I am so happy people are talking about this band. Discovered this Yellowcard when One For The Kids came out after hearing October Nights. Each album really has something I love about it, and there are so many memories attached. I’m looking forward to more new stuff from WRK.

When everyone’s done ranking albums, people need to do a favourite song from each album.

I mean, it's a great record, a classic, but the run of Paper Walls-WYTTSY-SA is pretty ridiculous in terms of quality, especially considering there was a band hiatus in the middle of it

I get not everyone loving the voice over from his Grandfather, but I appreciate the personal nature of making that decision. I always thought it was cool how he had a few songs about his Aunt and Grandfather, who over the course of the band had passed away (Ending with My Mountain).

 

You've tried this one on me before. Still hate it.

 

Then why do you keep bringing it up? People were ranking albums and listing favourite songs.

 

Ocean Avenue- a dead tie between Way Away and Breathing
Lights And Sounds- a three-way tie between Martin Sheen or JFK, Waiting Game, and City of Devils (I love this record so much)
Paper Walls- Five Becomes Four
WYTTSY- another dead tie between Life of Leaving Home and The Sound of You and Me
Southern Air- Another three-way tie between Surface of the Sun, Sleep in the Snow, and A Vicious Kind
Lift A Sail- there is not a single song I like
Yellowcard- Got Yours
