Not looking forward to seeing how many votes the Spiderman song is going to get over the true bracket champion lol.

 

The Sound Of You and Me because the other track is like the 6th best song on its album.

Sleep in the snow, because it’s at minimum a top five YC song

 

I don’t get it. To me, it’s a perfectly fine track on an album with at least 7 better songs. The hook is unremarkable and there’s nothing particularly striking about the lyrics. I’m so disappointed it won the bracket for such a good album.

 

I love the instrumentals on Sleep In The Snow. The lyrics are nice and I love the chorus melody. The outro is pretty cool too and a nice change up for YC.

 

While I agree that it's not in my top 5 from the album, it's a good enough song that I have no complaints with it winning at all.

 

As much as I do like that song, I can understand why some people may think it's not a top track or is somewhat unremarkable. I've just always loved that one.

I don't understand how these rounds work at all lol like why is there only one in this round but like 4 in the next one??

1) The Sound of You and Me (sleep in the snow is def one of my faves but I too am surprised it came this far tbh)

 

There’s an odd number of songs in the bracket, so there have to be a lot of byes this round

 

I guess what I'm learning is
I don't know how brackets work?

 

Since the matches are pairs of two songs, the best scenario is having 2, 4, 8, 16 or 32 tracks. That way if there are 16 tracks total, we have 8 matches that give 8 winners, then 4 matches that give 4 winners, then 2 matches, then 1 final match. Since we have 9 songs total, we need to do 1 match to eliminate one song so then we can have 8 songs left. Which is why we have 7 songs going straight to round 2 (called byes) and a single match with the two other songs.
