It cost me 30 dollars for a ticket to see Yellowcards final show ever, and I flew there on an airplane. And this dude is complaining about ticket prices and the fact that the lead singer is taking the time to make something special for people. What a knob.
I don't get it when people complain about shit they're not buying like that dude. Just being an asshole for no reason.
Paper Walls is a solid choice for favorite YC song. I'd personally have to think on it a lot more to make that decision for myself though.
Most of my favorite YC tracks are all closers: Hollywood Died, Paper Walls, Be The Young and Back Home.
I don't know if its an unpopular opinion, but I really only like the 2nd part of the song. It honestly feels like two separate songs that were combined. But I do love that ending for sure.
(Selling a product and looking to monetize things you can doesn't make you broke, btw. That's just a stupid take.)
Four things: 1.) It is a crime that they didn't perform the Self-Titled album front to back at least one time on their last tour. 2.) It is a crime that they never played 'Got Yours' or 'The Hurt Is Gone' live. 3.) Out of the new songs they played live 'What Appears' was my favorite to see. YUUUUGE bridge and awesome chorus. 4.) Witnessing them perform 'Lift a Sail' was very special. One of my top 3 YC songs.
Listening to Lift the Sail right now I think this is one of their best records. "The Deepest Well" is such a banger.
