    Someday I’ll find me Prestigious

I feel like I tried so hard to catch a show in the 2000s, but when they quit in 2007, I gave up on the idea. Wasn't a hug fan of Lift a Sail, but the other two after the hiatus were good fun.

I have a renewed interest in bands that aren't Brand New and Thrice, so I'm thinking I need to catch them if they tour near me for this album.

Anyone else think the vocals sound kind of weird or altered when they first come in after the initial guitar/violin? Maybe it's the stream quality?

For instance if you listen to this track and then play another one of theirs (I used Awakening as an example) the vocals on Awakening sound much more front and center and more crisp. Not sure if it's just me or the sound quality.

Said I'm okay, but I know how to lie.

Haha, if this was the actual quality, I could totally tell by now that this album is going to suck. (And yeah, the vocals are buried in this)

Love that song! Even more hyped for this album. Love the violin work here

Yeah that quality is bad but of course it is it's a leak on a Russian site. YC have always had excellent production no need to doubt them now

To be fair, there's at least one person from the Lift a Sail thread who won't hear a difference when the real thing is released.

I asked a question. There was no judgement in my post.

Just listened to the song. I dunno about this one. It's subdued almost to a forced extent to my ears, which is most apparent in the violin part. It also strikes me as odd for an opener.

I'd describe it as the weakest song on Paper Walls.

This is what i meant. The first chorus seems ready to jump and then it just stops. It's such a let down.

Enjoyed the second listen more, i'm sure it'll be a grower. still really peculiar opener though

  20. pls let this thread be better than the Lift a Sail one. I'm not normally a person to say "bad thread" or whatever but that was terrible
