Also, I think it is literally impossible to pick a favorite Yellowcard song. They have such a diverse catalog, the sum of the parts is so tremendous and each one is useful for a certain time/season/feeling. I couldn't pick a single favorite if I tried.
It's been said many times already. The album art, tracklisting, and release date all leaked online a lot earlier than they planned to announce it. That's why YC announced it since it was already out there anyways.
Yeah I'd sent them that VK link to show the info had leaked and they messaged me back saying thanks, asked me to delete it because they told me they'd announce it sooner than they wanted to. I'd imagine a single is coming soon too.
I LOVE Big Fish, so "How I Go" is my jam. Other faves are Ten, Telescope, Illuminate, Holly Wood Died, Sleep in the Snow, Dear Bobbie, and Gifts & Curses.
I'm not super worried about that after hearing that it has the most string arrangements of any of their records
I love "Bombers," "Keeper," and "Southern Air" the most. "Bombers" is seriously such a jam. Shoulda been on PW!
Absolutely love Yellowcard, probably up there as one of my favourite band's, so so underrated, with Paper Walls being my personal favourite. Im in love with their "ballady" affairs, "How I go" "City of Devils" "View from heaven" "Hang you up" So pumped for this new album, its about time they dropped a single!
I waited just about a year for Are We Really Happy With Who We Are Right Now? and close to 9 months I think for the Juturna Anniversary repress.
The response on VK from what i can translate has been pretty negative. One interesting comment said "Another song where i will feel awkward at the concert just standing there not sure what to do." Never really thought of it that way.
