Waiting on that SowingSeason review tho And ofc to hear @Craig Manning and @Jason Tate and @Thomas Nassiff give their thoughts/possible reviews
There's going to be a lot of Yellowcard celebration on the site next week, I think. I can't wait. It's going to be a special release week.
Something like that, ha. Not necessarily a deep dive retrospective, but a look back at what the band has meant to me over the years.
That sounds great. It will either be a nice preview for what I'm about to hear or a nice way to reflect on my thoughts. Im sure this will have your in depth thoughts on the album?
The plan is for this to be the more in depth piece, since going really deep in a review is less fun to read.
I'm proud of myself for only listening to the first single once. I want to go in as green as possible for this. Only another week and a half.
Good idea. Honestly the second song I think will be much better in the context of the album. Weird choice for a single imo.
Yeah it feels like this came up super quick. I guess it helps that there have been fantastic releases basically every week for months on end haha. Very ready for this though.
Honestly, I think Yellowcard has the greatest staying power (in terms of not listening just for nostalgia) out of the major pop punk bands from the early 00's. There are no lyrics that I cringe from hearing or think "wow I totally don't relate to this anymore". Given I'm only almost 21 and am not really that old yet, but I can already feel myself not connecting to blink, for example, as much and overall don't feel the same way about them compared to when I was 17.
I guess I know this is coming out. I couldn't have told you a date if a gun was to my head, and I think I have heard two songs?
