I really like this song, the length doesn't bother me so much anymore. Kind of reminds me of 1979 by Smashing Pumpkins.
I'm loving this song a lot. That riff is infectious and sounds kinda like the riff from The Hotelier's "Soft Animal" filtered through SOMST-era Jimmy Eat World and played by Yellowcard.
All of the strong opinions finally weighed down enough on me to buckle and give it a listen. Song is awesome, chorus is great, honestly such a classic Yellowcard song. I heard it on Spotify so I didn't get the full version of song, only like a 4 minute version. Is the full one out there at all?
Well I think it's a good indication. Maybe that's just what he's into writing now. Lift the Sail was a bit different in ways, and this is building off that album and his soon to be solo stuff. The Big If had a lot of Yellowcard similarities without getting a proper release as well.
I love both new songs so far. I love the vibe of this one. The length doesn't bother me much and I think it'll be better within the context of the album. I don't get the hate for it.
Idk if this was posted in the thread yet. Sorry if it was already, but there will likely be a new rendition of this song on the new album.
Acoustic bonus tracks available if you purchase the record through f.y.e YELLOWCARD, YELLOWCARD [EXCLUSIVE WITH BONUS TRACKS]
I didn't even know that store still existed. I used to shop for CDs there when we had one in the mall. There was F.Y.E. and Sam Goody
The FYE Exclusive is somewhat surprising, but the acoustic bonus tracks aren't. I've always really enjoyed their acoustic renditions.
lol I'll probably get an email from them like the day before release saying that they just sent my order to the pressing plant or something.
hahaha. Theyll send you a download of the "hot new Yellowcard song" Rest In Peace the day the album streams
Merchnow will read this exchange and be like "those assholes we'll show them!" and then 3 years later we get a strongly worded email
