    Steve was a part of the West Coast hardcore/punk/emo scene back in the day, and was even label-mates with Orchid for a brief period. Say what you will about the guy's current musical output, but his collaborations with folks in our scene always made sense to me.

    Also, after the first date of WWWY 2022 got canceled last minute, he brought a ton of the bands in to do remixes and sing verses during his late night set at a club, which was super fun. Not to mention his decades-long efforts with activist and nonprofit groups.

    I'm definitely not the biggest EDM fan, but I'll always have so much respect for Steve Aoki.

    Also this remix was perfectly fine.
