Really excited for this album. YC is one of my favorite bands. One of the few bands that got me into music. I enjoyed Lift A Sail probably more than most. All I want is some more violin throughout each song. They're on a pretty good streak though. I've like every albums since One For The Kids... So I've liked every album.
Yellowcard is in my Top 5 favorite bands but it's hard to get excited without LP3. LP and Alex from Saosin are my two favorite drummers.
I thought Nate from Anberlin only did Lift A Sail and some of the touring immediately following LP leaving. I have no idea who's been doing drums on this record. I haven't read or seen any photos.
Most anticipated of the year except for California. Being all aboard the blink hype, when this comes out it will be as if it came out of nowhere. Incredibily consistent band. Plus, I think their post-hiatus discography is already stronger than everything before. Probably the only music artist I love to come back and redefine their prime/peak.
I've come to think that LaS, while a good album in its own right, seems like a stepping stone to something really great. They tried out a bunch of new things and I feel like they can really perfect what they tried to do there on the next release. I guess they've said they won't be expanding on that sound, though, so I'm probably wrong on that theory. It's kind of a bummer, because I feel they could make an amazing record by more fully realizing the stuff they messed around with on LaS.

I feel like it's going to be very hard for them to appease fans going forward, based on the Lift a Sail hate in here. Frankly, I'd be fine with another record that goes further down the roads they explored on that album.
I feel like that record is overrated as hell but Lights on the other hand is in my opinion. That will probably be the only record I really love from these guys.
This excited me before I remembered that the release is still a while off I'm guessing. I'm also guessing they will release it while on warped tour, maybe? Or right after warped and do a supporting tour for the release. Just speculating here.
I'm super intrigued about where they're going to go with this, especially having gone back to Hopeless. I think when looking back on their career, Lift a Sail will stand out as the "weird one" but I hope they don't abandon that direction entirely. I would like more catchy songs and more prominent violin.
I am pretty excited for this. I liked Lift A Sail's atmospheric sound. If that makes any sense? Nevertheless, a new YC album is never a bad thing.
it does actually, I feel like if I need to slow down from all their more energetic stuff, LaS is my go to.
LaS is pretty much a refreshing release considering the rest of their post-OFTK kids albums is same-y (and I don't necessarily mean that in a negative way).
