Has anyone else who uses Apple Music had issues with volume on this album specifically? It is only this album, nothing else. Most of the album is several clicks quieter than everything else I listen to, except for "Love Letters Lost", "Skin Scraped", and "Barely Alive" - those are the "correct" volume relative to everything else. Never had this happen before.
I have it on, but the album isn't marked as Atmos that I'm seeing, unless just parts of the album are and I'm missing it. I'm pretty used to Atmos mixes being quieter overall, this one just throws me for a loop because it's only specific songs on the album, not the whole thing.
Hm, that was my only guess. Unless it's the singles, and you added them before or something? I don't hear that on my end.
I wondered that too, it isn't the singles specifically. Just to verify, I have Atmos on automatic. I see the Dolby Audio signal on the album I'm currently listening to (which is in Atmos.) I went back and played Better Days and cycled through, no Dolby audio tag initiated on any of them, just the usual lossless. I'll delete it from my library and try again, I guess!
What a great listen this is. Pay attention, a lot of tidbits in here that may be of interest to this broader thread... Ep. 291: Ryan Key discusses Yellowcard’s “Better Days”
Absolute fire collaboration. Joel's harmonies really shine on here, especially on the final chorus - when he goes an octave lower *chefs kiss*
I think it's fine. It seems unnecessary when the original is so good by itself, but I really like the change to the outro.
Absolutely love this. Surprised at how much Joel's voice compliments Ryan's. God I'm jealous that Australia gets this tour and not the U.S.
