An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

Love Letters Lost is the one

Been around since the AP days and don't post as much anymore but I visit the site/forums on a daily basis and read the news, reviews, forum comments. This was such a blast to listen to in full this morning. The band has meant so much to me since OA. To have you guys come back again with an album this good is just a gift. Thank you WRK and the whole band. You've still got it!

Oh and I also have two young daughters both with blue eyes. So that song is a killer in the best way.

This album is fucking great. Love Letters Lost has such an awesome chorus. Can’t wait to listen more.

Man, such a blast to hear a full album from these guys again, let alone one where they're clearly firing on all cylinders. You can really hear their excitement and passion for being together again and making music in that old mold. I think my only gripe is that the major standouts for me (the title track and "Bedroom Posters") are songs I'd already heard.

This was definitely one of those albums where hearing the singles hurt my full album experience. Was like hearing 2 eps.

100% a me problem. I even resisted listening to Bedroom Posters more than a couple times, but still, it took away from my favorite way of experiencing an album.

In 2025 and the age of streaming, the few of us full album fans left need to stand strong ✊

I definitely think you guys picked the right songs to release first and get people amped. I mean, that's clear based on how well "Better Days" has done. It's my own damn fault that I listened to them so many times!

    time is happening…..

I'll be honest -- I was skeptical about this album even after the first singles. I've had such a difficult time with artists that I love and have loved since childhood coming back with something disappointing; records that felt like cash grabs or capitalizing on the nostalgia surrounding their old work with no intentions of building upon the framework of their legacy material.

This album is blowing me away. Hearing these songs for the first time reminds me of the first time that I listened to Southern Air...13 years ago (holy shit). That was my first record with Yellowcard since Paper Walls (I had missed When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes) and felt immediately transported back to being nine years old and hearing Ocean Avenue for the first time. This is a record that could only be made by a band that is completely aware of their legacy, proud of each step (even ones that fans were maybe unsure of at first), and willing to do the work to throw it all in a blender and release something that is career spanning and some of their strongest material yet. This was such a nice way to warm up after waking up to our first 30 degree morning in Upstate New York.

I do wish the violin cut through the mix a bit more on this but really good stuff. only listened to t/t and honestly i beforehand and (honestly i) had a great time with the full album runthrough

    Someday I’ll find me Prestigious

This is definitely one of those albums where I'm super grateful I hadn't heard any of it until I had access to all of it. I didn't know it was only 32 minutes until I opened Apple Music this morning.

Im with you, but I am also a weak man. I played the shit out of Better Days and Honestly I 4 months ago. I listened to Bedroom POsters and Take what you want maybe 2-3 times each but it was enough for my brain to be like "you already know this song....NEXT"

Barely Alive is a BANGER. This album and the new Starting Line will be on repeat all fall.

    This is me trying

Same here. August Apple Replay says:

    Bedroom Posters - 108 plays
    Better Days - 83 plays
    TWYW - 80 plays
    honestly, i - 76 plays

It was a Yellowcard summer even without the new record being released. (you dont wanna know how many times the first three got played in July...each of them over 100 times, haha)

I do agree with that, but i usually only feel this way around the release date. When the album has been out for awhile that feeling goes away

  19. Was having a good time listening to this and reading the thread and then I saw that Southern Air is 13 years old. What the fuck.

I just realized I'm currently on a work trip to the exact same place I first heard Ocean Avenue which kickstarted my interest in music - perfect timing for this release! I love the pacing on this album as well it all fits so well together.

Echoing the comments here in that this is such a special album and an incredible way to return with a new album after nine years. Very much looking forward to making this one of my most played albums of the year.

Skin Scraped is an immediate favorite for me. This album is my first release as an avid Yellowcard fan and I couldn't be happier!
