this is awesome, and i will most likely go, but i really don't like when bands don't post what venues they are playing at.
Pretty big venues it seems. Here in Atlanta they are playing a 6,900 cap. I mean I dig the music, I’ll probably go, but kinda weird two bands on this bill did the “we’re over… jk” thing. But yeah never really felt like YC was ever done done when it ended.
First off this is awesome! I've noticed a trend in recent years where bands rotate the openers for various dates instead of having one or two of the same bands throughout the tour. It's a cool idea in theory but I feel like I always get super stoked to see a band I really want to see playing with another band I really want to see, only to find out they have an asterisk next to their name instead of a star and won't be at my date. More often then not it leads to a minor let down after the initial excitement, but if it works out and you get the dream lineup it can be awesome.
I’m pretty sure some of them will be scaled a bit by not having the lawn open and stuff like that but we will see. I think they’re big too haha. Livenation has faith though! See everyone there
Just wanted to thank you for coming here, answering questions, and just generally being cool and open and transparent about stuff! I think I speak for a good amount of us here when I say we really appreciate it. See you in Detroit!
Denver date is at Levitt Pavilion which according to the internets has a capacity of 7,500. its all grass. really glad we get Anberlin for our date.
Would have liked/been interested in seeing some of the old gang back together for this anniversary but I guess those are some long-sleeping dogs at this point.
I went to their farewell tour in 2016 the week the Cubs won the World Series. I saw set your goals perform mutiny! The very next day It was an awesome time.
So I was able to get tickets this morning but the price gauging from Ticketmaster was insane (just like with Blink and Taylor Swift). I’m not holding my breath but I hope they get taken down somehow with all the attention from the congressional hearings.
I'm super pumped to see the guys again (Like everyone else), and super pumped to take my wife for her first YC concert, but 2 general floor tickets for $250 after fees is a bit much. I've never paid that much for tickets ever...
Pavilion seats are only $45-65 right now for the Detroit date. Strange, wonder if demand is that much greater in other cities.
Love Ocean Ave and I get the 20 year celebration. And I’ll definitely be at the SLC date. I’ve heard it played front to back. I’m dying for other album play throughs live. Paper Walls, ST, Lights and Sounds. Really any other album of theirs. Hopefully one day. I’m just stoked they’re back at it! One of my all time favorite bands so I’ll take what they give!
