Yakuza/Like A Dragon (Game Series) Video Game

Series so great it needs its own thread with Ishiin coming out next week

 

Best franchise in gaming.

Starting the 3rd right now. Very excited.

 

Swordplay feels rough and like it'll take a lot to get used to.


Maybe it's because Ishiin is the first I'm playing on Hard lol

 

Haven't tried the Ishiin gameplay demo yet, I need to find time. Love these games.

 

I’m playing 0 now and it’s my first Yakuza game. I’m loving it so far and it feels like a movie.

 

Planning on playing through all of them? Some of them get a little rough with unpassable hour long cutscenes lol

 

Yeah, but thankfully they are better than the MGS cutscenes because they're actually coherent haha

 

Not really. I heard this was the best one to start with and thought I’d try it out.

 

How the hell did I not see this thread before?! I need to get 5 and 6 finished before Gaiden comes out but 5 is def gonna be at least 50 hours for a playthrough

 

My hype is through the roof right now at the story

I feel like I'll never catch up. I am on Kiwami 2 but they make these games faster than I play them.

 

It gets a little better with some shorter games in the middle but the PS3 era ones are a little rough and way too long

Just finished Like A Dragon and Gaiden, fantastic games. At this point I've played those and Yakuza 0, and I am so fucking excited to dive into Infinite Wealth once I play through FFVII Rebirth.
