looks pretty good, honestly. i was worried with all the production hiccups

 

I've waited 10+ years for this and now we get 3 episodes in one day? Hell yeah.

It's been a long time since I read the graphic novel, but the first episode was better than I expected.

 

love love love it so far

First 2 episodes were great.

 

Loved all three episodes. So wild finally seeing this in a moving picture medium.

 

Finished reading the series last week so everything is super fresh to me. I like the show so far and some of the changes they made make for better tv.

 

I haven’t read it in like 10 years so after watching it I went back and grabbed the first issue to see how close it was.

 

Really enjoying this so far, glad they gave us three episodes right off the bat. Pilot episode was amazing, I love huge set ups like that and knowing that anything is an option and they could go anywhere with the story.

only downside for me so far is that I don’t really care for any of the characters. Like, any of them could get picked off and I wouldn’t feel anything about it.

 

I like the show so far, but it feels like society fell apart way too fast. Like I know it’s an extraordinary situation, but there’s enough women who are skilled or work at utilities and such that life wouldn’t be over.

 

Half the population is gone. That’s a lot of people no longer working.

 

I realize that and things like the Presidents speech to the Nuclear Engineer help, but it’s something I felt the comics handled better.

 

Society almost fell apart in The Leftovers and they only lost 2%

 

This is out in the UK today so will watch when i get home.
