Other Xenoblade games were way better when it came to cutscene frequency and length, it’s too bad they changed a winning formula there
I'm still having a blast and love getting new classes, I just breeze through some of the dialogue without even reading it when its nothing important
Ch 1 and 2 are really prologue. It’s too long of an intro but once you get past 3.5 chapters or so the magic starts.
Finished XC2 this morning, just so so good! picked up 3 already and am eager to get into it, but might play a little of something else first for a palate cleanser though lol
Still on Chapter 5 70 hours into the game, with my characters about to reach level 70 as well. I should probably progress the story but I keep getting distracted by side quests. Just recruited Triton on one of the islands.
I love the ocean/islands area. The pirate Moebius that joins your party and the little cute but OP enemy that your Nopon are jealous off are some classic Xenoblade nonsense and I love it.
Yup I just did both of those yesterday. I thought I was doing a good job of exploring every inch of every area...until I got to the islands.
Started this over the weekend and it's addicting, I'm definitely gonna play the hell out of this game
Does everyone play as the same character usually, or do you mix it up? I can't decide on who I like playing the most as yet.
i'm constantly rotating classes for each party member once they reach rank 10, and I just play as whoever has the most fun class to battle with. if i'm just running around I'm usually using Eunie because she's just the best, innit
The cutscenes though, good God, they consumed like 90% of my gaming time last weekend and that pisses me off
