If I want my other party members to learn a Hero's class (Flash Fencer for instance), is there a better way than just assigning it to Noah, battling a lot, and eventually other people will be able to unlock it?
Flash fencer rules, it seems like you either need to have the specific hero active in your party or in the case of Flash Fencer, someone needs to have the class equipped and eventually others will be able to unlock it.
I’ve been maining with Flash Fencer and it’s fucking awesome. just unlocked Gray as well and I’m excited to try that out so I can shoot some geeks
How am I supposed to willingly progress the main storyline when there’s so many question marks to go to
I do not understand the concept of role actions. I know they fill the talent art gauge, for example, but I don’t understand how to knowingly perform role actions. For example, I am using an attacker class with Noah that I got from the Silvercoat lady, and literally all I do is ATTACK, but the talent art gauge rarely if ever fills up. In my old attacker class it always filled up. I also don’t understand how role actions tie into chain attacks, but I know they do. Anyone?
I can't speak for every class, although I have a good idea, but I know with Noah's starting class you need to hit the positions right (the back attack or side attack) and also need to cancel the attack. The cancelling is key. With the Fencer class you need to hit a crit after cancelling an attack, there is an art for fencer where if you hit from the side you have a very high chance of hitting a crit. Cancel that art and you will always fill your talent gauge. For defenders i'd imagine it is dodging or blocking an attack and healer would be healing in some specific way. The only way I can think of them being tied to chain attacks is the arts that fill up your talent gauge also fill up the chain attack gauge.
Make sure you are scanning your three amiibos per day, one of them gave me a CP boost that leveled up the Class of all my characters. I think the rewards are random though because the next time I used that amiibo it gave me items.
I believe it can be found in the class descriptions somewhere in the menus. I will look when I pop on later. I definitely remember reading it in-game somewhere. Just where ever class descriptions are.
The battles get so chaotic that sometimes it's hard to cancel because you can't see shit. but I'm getting good at it
Yeah it's based off the auto-attack, right after your character completes an auto-attack, hit the button for the Art you want to do and you will see that circle show up. That's what I mean with cancelling an art, it's a little confusing haha. There's this little window of time when your character's auto attack animation stops where you hit the art button, it's a rhythm you get used to.
Yeah that I do all the time. I thought I could cancel arts into arts, that was my problem. But then I still don’t get why my talent art gauge doesn’t fill up (don’t remember the class, the one from the silvercoat lady, the first hero), since I always cancel auto attacks into arts.
That class you need to hit critical attacks on the cancelled attack. So the side attack art 'Null slash' will guarantee a critical and if you cancel it you will deff fill up the talent art gauge, I use that class the most. EDIT: It looks like any crit will fill the bar a little but doing it on a cancelled art fills it big time. I'm able to use the talent art for that class every battle because of the one side attack.
i'm a sucker for cosmetics so I am definitely going to try and get everyone to level 10 on every class just so they have all the outfit options. looks like there's a lot of hero classes so i'm not sure if i'll be able to accomplish this but with 150 hours of gameplay, who knows
I literally never use an art without cancelling an auto attack first and I can almost never use that talent art lol something is off with my character
