I really want to see it as I had a great time with X and love the concept but not even a release date for the UK.
I liked X more I think, but Pearl was really great. Stoked for the next one. I love me some 80s slasher goodness.
i got a little bored at times w/ pearl but the highlights made up for all that. let’s see what maxine does
As someone who didn’t like X that much at all, I found Pearl to be a *really* refreshing watch. The score was wonderful too. The amount of times I caught myself saying “we’re going there, huh?” during it, as well as that monologue/end credit scene has this as one of the best theater going experiences all year.
Wait lol I feel like Pearl should have its own thread so people who haven't seen it can avoid spoilers. If it's just me, I'll see myself out!

Personally I think it should be the X/Pearl/MaXXXine thread but I can see how that would make it harder to avoid spoilers
Sorry, exec decision for Pearl to have it's own thread haha. That way y'all can discuss the movie without spoiler tagging anything. Plus, it's not like we're limited to a number of threads on this site
