this could be really cool. adore House of the Devil but hate The Innkeepers, never seen his other ones

always love to see Cudi too

 

I'm the same. Except I would go a bit further to say House of the Devil is one of my favorite horror films...ever? I don't know, probably a reach, but that is how well I receive that film. I think that's why I was so disappointed after watching the Innkeepers is because I had very high expectations.

The premise for this sounds perfect for West and I can't wait to watch the trailer.

Also, Mia Goth is a great scream queen.

Love the trailer. Ti West is either big hit or total miss with me, though. Love The House of the Devil and The Sacrament, not so big on anything else.

 

Did anyone see if this being released in theaters only or if it will have a coinciding digital release?

 

A24 has been avoiding simultaneous digital releases for most of their pandemic-era films, and instead opting for single, Moment House style screenings a couple to a few weeks after the theatrical release. I can't say for certain this will follow the same pattern, but it would be my first guess.

Booked tickets for Saturday afternoon, the perfect time of day for a horror movie

 

I'm on the fence. The good reviews are making me want to see it, but the trailer didn't really sell it for me.
