Big showing from my boy in that first fight

I’m kinda assuming until told/shown otherwise that Morph as “nonbinary” was well-meaning but lazy and not really real, lol. If it gets addressed, well not not well, one of y’all should let me know.

Also hope my girl Jubes is living her best life.

 

Those first two episodes were great

 

I’m a big X-Men fan, but never watched the show as a kid. I watched the two new episodes tonight and loved them. I might work backwards now.

 

Both episodes were absolutely incredible

2024 is the year of the X-Men for Marvel

EDIT: It was nice watching this with my partner who hadn't seen a single episode of the original run. They did a really good job of making this for fans as well as folks just picking it up.

 

First episode was great. I’d believe it was a b-roll from the original series if the animation didn’t look polished. Jubilee’s new VA is a welcomed addition.

I’ll check the 2nd episode tomorrow

 

First episode was good. Wish they would have dropped all episodes at once though. A weekly release for 28 minute episodes is wack.

Didn’t expect to enjoy Cyclops this much but his whole action sequence in the first episode was 10/10.

 

It's about time we got some bad ass Cyclops stuff after how dirty they did him in the movies

 

Felt they did a really good job of introducing everyone and their powers for new audiences while also pushing the boundaries of what their powers can do. The team definitely went into this asking what have we always wanted to see these characters do when we were playing with action figures.

 

All the X-men discourse on social media has been interesting but then I saw this and am dying at “Johnny Five Dicks”

 

The way this was embedded makes your reference to Johnny Five Dicks look super random and out of nowhere.

 

The show is so freaking good. It’s wild how well they can distill so many plot lines and inspirations into a single story.

 

Cyclops kicks so much ass in that first episode

lol I literally just watched that part as I read this. My first thought was this show is wild and I love it already

 

Nostalgia aside, this is very good. Haven't read comics in a long time but that's what this essentially feels like, with great voice acting.

 

I fell off the comics about 5 years ago or so but this makes me want to dive right back in

 

Last few years of X-Men have been really great, but that’s a long storyline that is in the endgame now. The good news is that whole line is relaunching later this summer and will be an excellent jumping on point.
