interesting, i think civilian is incredible.

i might put the flock of dimes album over civilian tho too

 

I just love the sadder sounding bombastic shit that "The Knot" is filled with. "Milk And Honey" into "For Prayer" is an insanely heavy 1-2 punch to open an album.

"Mary Is Mary" is one of my favorite Wye Oak tunes. You can definitely put on any of their albums and I'll be content. One of my favorite bands for sure.

I love everything they’ve done, but this one feels really special.

Of course, I’m the guy whose favorite Wye Oak album was Tween, and this is basically the perfect continuation of that album.

They played a brand new song for the first time yesterday at the Julien Baker show they opened, and I recorded audio of the song.
