Not to be a BNB of sorts, but the hashtag in that IG post says Tampa and some of the nerds on Wreddit pointed out in the video he posted it says Tampa on the wall of the gym. I guess that doesn’t necessarily mean he won’t be in it but it doesn’t look like he’s in Philly yet.
maybe they already do this, but if not i'd be very surprised, but if i was Vince / Trips / creative i would pay for past legends to be in the city where the Rumble is taking place the weekend of just to throw people off. granted, these people have lives outside of the E and not all relationships end well, but just imagine people losing their minds about seeing Sting, Nash, Hart, Michaels, Mysterio, The Mummy, Ryback, Barrett, Mankind, etc. in Philly this weekend and thinking they're all going to be in the Rumble.
Yea I don't buy any of this shit until I see tonight .I don't know, I wouldn't be upset if we didn't get any surprises all together.
yeah, like, I don't think Taker being in Philly is damning evidence because it could just be Michelle Mccool in the Rumble, or for some other random reason like how he was backstage at Summerslam for 3D body scans.
The f4w blurb that got alluded to in the other thread: The current plan for Ronda Rousey's WWE debut at WrestleMania looks to be a tag team match against Stephanie McMahon & Triple H. There had been rumors all week regarding the match the company had tried to put together for WrestleMania 31 with Rousey & Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson against Stephanie & Triple H. It is unknown whether that match can be put together. Johnson hasn't' been able to wrestle a significant match due to insurance reasons regarding movie's he has agreed to do that have kept him from wrestling at last few WrestleMania shows, aside from the few second match with Erick Rowan in 2016. The announcement of Rousey's signing, which had been known for some time since she had been training since last summer for pro wrestling, is a huge move given the company's television contract is coming due and Rousey is a gigantic mainstream name. Whether or not she has long-term drawing potential past the curiosity of some early matches, her being part of the roster with her name value as a woman's star should increase the value of the company's programming since they have announced she will be there as a full-timer for several years.
ill be shocked. out of the stuff they've teased with triple h all year (shane, angle, strowman)...id be shocked to see them go that route with him. the big question in my eyes is what they do with the raw belt...alexa feels so out of place in that ring (not in terms of character, but in believability as a "strong wrestler")
I think HHH/kurt is most likely. It would be a shame for Alexa to get the Ambrose treatment of "hey, you've carried the belt all year but it's WM, so time to give it up" but she just isn't in Sasha or Asuka's league right now in terms of character development I think Sasha is winning the belt
