EC3 should not be a Rumble debut, he’s not gonna win any first time fans over with his ring work. Give him some vignettes and a debut promo and I think he could be instantly huge.

 

bobby lashley v brock would be fun

 

I'm guessing he's just cancelling that indie date because he's going to be at Takeover the night before (EC3 that is)

 

Rumble is going to be weird with all of the injuries. Kevin Owens may be hurt.

 

I can't imagine EC3 would get much of a reaction at all as a Rumble entrant.

People really want to see Lashley? Always found the dude to be boring as fuck, great another roid case who uses the spear. YAWN.

 

Have you watched anything he did outside of WWE at all? Lashley has even pretty great since he left

 

EC3 has a deal in place. Lashley is hoping to get an offer.

 

I would think that he wouldn’t... it would just be a way to boost the event and bring him back. However, if DB really did enter and win, I think the pop/excitement could make it an incredible RR.

But I don’t think it will happen.

 

Why do people think Ziggler has such a high chance of winning the rumble?

 

A LOT of people think the Rumble winner is an SD guy. This works because 1) you dont need a rumble win to justify roman/brock II and 2) a rumble win helps boost the "lesser" title match.

So given that line of thought, there arent too many smackdown guys that can believably win. Nak, Styles (already champ), Orton (again?). Ziggler has an apparent long-term story going on, so people think it could play-in.

I'd definitely be down for Ziggler winning. Just hard to picture WWE wanting him in a title match at Mania

Nak seems to make the most sense. I will say that anyone other than Reigns or Nak would be SHOCKING (Nak winning is shocking too...predictable...but a good kind of predictable).

I wish they would use the "winner can challenge for whatever belt he wants" rule.

 

I think it’s Finn and he challenges AJ. I imagine the recent partial turn is so he can fight a clear good guy, but also give him an edge. Also he’s all over the Wrestlemania promotional material, which could mean nothing, but I get a feeling it means something.

 

Anyone else feeling like a dark horse shot is Kofi? I really do feel like in the “two world titles” environment he will get a thank you run with the B belt, and New Day are spinning their wheels

Doesn’t make sense to face a face Styles, but I think he may walk out with it in the next few years.

I think the world title will happen for sure, whether they decide it’s a Wrestlemania worthy thing or a transitional reign on a B PPV is a diff story lol

 

Yeah I feel like whenever he held a singles title it was for transitional reasons

 

I want a Kofi title win so badly

 

Please no to Ziggler. Finn would be great but so would Nak or Joe.

Also, I haven’t been reading rumors but I feel like Rousey winning the women’s rumble and challenging Bliss is obvious.

 

Any updates on the Rousey front for the rumble?
