at this point the only thing that could save the Riott Squad is if Ruby and Liv "turn"/beat up Sarah Logan, kicking her out because of their lack of impact. Or Ruby beats them both up for the same reason. Please end this. Yes... Royce/Kay would've made a much bigger impact.
which was obvious from the moment they introduced this doomed angle it would probably fail anyway but at least peyton and billie give it a chance. it should've just been paige and those two on Raw and that's it
I don't wanna believe it but the graphic there looks legit (ie. they have more info about it than publically released)
since nobody actually posted it: Nakamura vs. Styles vs. Orton vs. Zayn vs. Owens WWE Title: Fatal 5-Way edit: Keep in mind, if true, this also means none of those guys are winning the Rumble.
doesn't Fastlane fall in the window of Orton's extended sabbatical? wouldn't put a ton of stock into it
probably doesn't want to do the media and the autograph sessions/axxess stuff associated with mania time. maybe he wants to go somewhere warm while it's cold. who knows.
i also think we're at the point in ortons career where he doesnt really give a crap about wrestlemania anymore. I'd be into heel Orton vs Nak at mania though. Sounds like a solid matchup. and Cena vs Aj for the WWE title..... it's fine. It gets AJ Styles into a main event at wrestlemania with the biggest name in the company. I'm for it.
Remember when everyone was like "wow! Cena put Styles over!" Way back when and now it'll be Cena going over Styles - for the title again - two or three times in a row now since Styles last beat him (which was not for a title at SS)
cena beats styles at mania styles gains an edge to his character, feels he needs to prove he can beat John in a high stakes match match 3 is at summerslam, some loser leaves town stip, or a "last chance" match where whoever loses can no longer challenge for the title as long as the other is champion styles goes over, cena leaves til rumble for his hollywood stuff apologies for dumb fantasy booking. tl;dr - as long as Cena's (very hypothetical) win serves a purpose beyond #17, it's fine
So apparently Meltz is saying Cena is going to be in a bigger match than the WWE title match with AJ and threw out these names: Batista, Undertaker, Hogan, Goldberg. Said the Mania card will probably start becoming more obvious after the 25th anniversary Raw shows
i'm confident that i'm in the minority when i say i'd be fine with either Taker or Goldberg. i wouldn't be excited for either but you could slap "first time ever" on either of those (unless you count some random 2003 Vengeance or something for Cena/Taker) and it would be a big easy marquee program. Batista would be... acceptable. better feud than the HHH one Batista always talks about. but Cena/Hogan, first time ever and all, is laughable
I really think it's going to be Cena/Taker, it is going to be fascinating how they spin what he did last year at the end of Mania.
Not sure I can handle enduring another Taker match. Last year was so painful to watch. Cena vs Goldberg I can see happening. Batista? Nah they've done it. Hogan? I'd say no chance in hell.
sigh they should've just done Cena/Taker last year and let him walk away. instead we got that shitfest with Roman so Cena could have his forced moment and now we have to run it back again this year
Or as someone suggested on Reddit, he could be in a mixed tag match with Rhonda replacing the Rock. Dave also said Rhonda is filming a movie next month so Rumble is unlikely unless she moves some scheduling things around. Could make sense for her match.
