Rumors for the Day:

• The two roster trades Vince McMahon is most interested in seeing involve AJ Styles moving to Raw while The New Day head to SmackDown.

I really don't want AJ on Raw

 

Hmm, wonder if that'd be how they break up the New Day. Because if they can run roughshod over the whole roster for 400+ days, it stands to reason they should murder the smackdown tag division.

AJ moving to RAW only makes sense if there are 1 or 2 solid singles competitors filling his places. Otherwise Smackdown is screwed once Cena disappears again

 

In this scenario, Smackdown probably gets Nakamura and Roode, I think.

 

Nak isn't being promoted for the next NXT tour so I'd expect him on the Raw or Smackdown after Mania. Doubt Roode is up for a while.

True, but anything shy of a Roman injury and Lesnar leaving is gonna make that hard to change. This'll be the 4th straight WM where the intention is to put Roman over.

Big mistake here is not having Roman just go over Goldberg. Lesnar beating him at WM doesnt really restore his aura to where it was before SS.

 

The fans are so split on Goldberg and Lesnar that it doesn't matter at all.

 

This WM is looking pretty bad right now. And if that spoiler is true, next years is ruined already.

forget the fuck that they're still doing this Reigns thing... at this point i'm over Lesnar too.

I'd be okay if they did a Reigns vs Balor...or like Reigns vs Owens...or Reigns vs AJ.... he's the face of the company, and i dont accept that but its reality, so if thats the case, as least let him be involved with different/new people.

 

Im guessing its Lesnar's last go before his contract is up, thus why he'd be the thing. But yeah, Im ready to move past that and give Paul Heyman a new star to manage

New rumor is Reigns going to SDL after Mania

 

I want so badly for it to be The New Day and one of the midcarders between Sami/Cesaro/etc. Send back AJ and the Usos.

I mean, RAW would probably be a lot better without Roman being forced into stories, but, the notion that the RAW writing team will still suck + Smackdown having LolROman stuff is just too much

 

I mean if anyone could make Roman look good its the SDL writers and at least he'd have new-ish heels to fight

 

Going to SD cause he's gotta beat Cena's record eventually.

 

• As it stands now, we can expect no less than three title changes at WrestleMania 33.

I guess we have the Universal Title, the US title, possibly the IC title. Those seem the 3 most likely. Then I guess CW, Raw Tag, and both womens titles could change hands.

Just feels like the day after WM33 is gonna feel a lot like the day after WM32, where they do a hard reset as if the last 9 months didnt happen

 

Kinda curious where they go with the universal title after this IF Brock wins (I mean obviously he probably does), since it is the last year of his contract they are saying he's working more dates.

 

Gotta imagine he's wrestling at Payback and Extreme Rules in some form. Though Id bet that Payback is KO getting his title shot. Maybe ER is some triple threat or fatal four-way that sets up Roman/Brock at Summerslam

Guess it depends where Finn ends up in there too
