If it wasn't for the draft tonight, I don't think I'd watch. I'm hoping for some surprises but I doubt we get any. Brock, Cain, Charlotte, Roman, Ronda all on Smackdown Rollins, Becky, Fiend, New Day maybe on RAW
i don't know why everyone seems to assume this is the case. IIRC last year's plans were something else until Roman got sidelined and then they last-minute switched to battle of the brands.
The leaked raw list said Charlotte was going there but it said smackdown champion Charlotte, makes a lot more sense now but a lot less sense for the smackdown women's division.
the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that Vince McMahon was laughing about the reaction from fans to the Hell in a Cell main event.
lol a killer summary of rumors today Backstage reactions to the Fox Sports/NFL draft segments on SmackDown weren’t good, sources told WrestlingNews.co. One wrestler allegedly told the site, “[WWE] can’t help themselves. It always makes me cringe when you see them trying so hard to show everyone how mainstream they are.” The draft pools being posted in the order talent were selected on Friday was a miscommunication, per Wrestling Observer Radio. The web team was supposed to alphabetize the list, but somehow missed the message. The initial belief is WWE will not honor Mike Kanellis’ latest release request.
lol While it was speculation and not reporting, Meltzer also recently said on Observer Radio he thinks Seth Rollins burning down Firefly Fun House was a way to write the concept off as Fox doesn’t want it as part of SmackDown. One more from Observer Radio... R-Truth & Carmella were split in the Draft because USA came up with the 24/7 title and wanted to keep on Raw, but WWE doesn’t like separating real life couples and Corey Graves is on SmackDown.
