If she's coming back, this would actually be the most epic way to announce it. Fake out of her entering, then Emmalina style "coming soon"

 

I really hope Aries/Neville don't get put on the pre show for Mania. Those two could steal the show.

 

Last year there were 12 matches and only 3 were on the pre-show.

We've got these official (bolded things that will 100% be on the main card)

Brock/Goldberg
Bray/Randy
KO/Jericho
Bayley/Charlotte/Sasha
Raw tag match
Alexa vs All
Andre Battle Royale

All but certain
AJ/Shane
Roman/Taker
Dean/Corbin or IC title match
Neville/Aries or CW title match

That's 11 matches, with some room for a Seth/HHH angle, and possible either a Smackdown tag match or a CW multi-man tag. Basically, I'd hope that its not Neville/Aries, and is instead a 6 or 7 man ladder match for the CW title. That'll get it the opening slot of the main card. And leave the Smackdown womens and RAW tag matches as pre-show.

 

If there's 3 pre-show matches I'd bet my money on SD Women, RAW or SD Tag match, Andre Battle Royal. If not one of them I'd say a cruiserweight match.

Wonder if UK title gets thrown into the mix.

 

hadnt thought of the UK title. If they do that, itd be preshow. Battle Royal is gonna be stacked, so i bet it stays main show.

 

I bet the UK title will be at Takeover, the UK talent has been working NXT shows.

Good analysis of the card so far, left off the Cena/Nikki vs Miz/Maryse match though, which is almost certainly another main show match.

 

Good catch. And that basically solidifies the card. Think Dean/Corbin will be a singles match, and the remaining Smackdown guys will be in the battle royal. Harper kind of gets shafted, but, oh well.

Im thinking Smackdown wont have a title match, and save that for the PPV right after. They may throw out an 8-minute match thats a bunch of Smackdown and RAW tag teams just to get people the paycheck.

 

If the UK match isn't on the show, what was the point?

 

also isn't shaq in talks with WWE about possibly going forward with the big show match? i thought i saw that earlier this week.

 

The entire event is going to be 6 1/2 hours anyway so there's time if they want it.

 

Yeah, a Shaq/Show match isnt lasting longer than 10 minutes including entrances and the promo video, so, thats no big deal.

 

Here's my fantasy booking for Mania

Set up a Finn Balor and Sami Zayn vs HHH and Joe program

Have Joe kayfabe injure Sami either at the go home show of Raw or the day of Mania

Finn's surprise partner is Seth Rollins

 

That's cool and all but that's so shitty for Sami.

What push? He hasnt won a feud and has been fodder for Braun/KO/Joe basically.

I actually think his odds of actually getting title shots go up after WM, since KO will probably hold the midcard belt and the rest of the RAW midcard is more mixed

 

I guess a push in the way that he's been one of the top faces on Raw lately.

 

Yeah, Im just thinking thats no different than the position he was in a year ago, right after WM, where he was the centerpiece of the IC title feud. Though there he looked stronger than now, where he's routinely getting sacrificed, and his lone win was a roll-up off distraction

 

So I guess Show/Shaq isn't happening. Does that mean it opens a spot up on the main card ?

 

there's already like 13 matches for mania and 7 of them are top tier matches. getting on the main card is going to be real difficult for everyone.

 

It's obvious the triple threat tag match is pre showed, I do think the CW title match will be on the main card.

This I agree with, man if you take out Roman/Taker and Goldberg/Brock that's a solid card.

 

I actually think, on paper, this card is great. Even with Goldberg/Brock and Taker/Roman, both of those matches are intriguing for not match quality reasons. That being said, this is going to be a long ass show and I hope to God they don't try to give the Rock a 45 minute segment
