Sigh. I get it, like I said. They want Charlotte and Becky to be able to share this "moment" of main eventing Mania for the rest of their careers. Rather than only one woman having it after Ronda leaves. Charlotte really did nothing to earn it like Becky did though, which is kind of the story of her career. It absolutely makes the story worse though (and debatably the match).
Charlotte is good in ring and her being in that match adds to the quality of it in-ring wise easily. Story-wise, no, it doesn't make sense to have her there.
My point was more about a triple threat vs. a singles match rather than is Charlotte good in the ring or not. She can be good in the ring and still make the hypothetical match worse if you don't enjoy triple threats as much.
I like four ways better than triple threats but it doesn't seem like there's a realistic wrestler to add other than those three
Also, every year it becomes a multi-person match for the women. Sasha/Becky/Charlotte at WM32. Bayley/Sasha/Nia/Charlotte at WM33...and the 6-pack challenge for the SD womens. Summerslam became Charlotte/Becky/Carmella. When they finally gave Charlotte/Asuka a singles match, it worked well. When they just did Ronda/Charlotte, it was great. Becky/Ronda, Charlotte/Asuka...those would be two great matches. And then do something like a triple threat for the womens tag belts to get people in.
Lars was supposed to debut on Monday, but either left or never showed up due to an anxiety attack. Plan for a while has been him vs Cena at Mania. Seems to be up in the air now
Probably. Could also be why Matt Hardy has been teasing coming back; could the plan have been Bucks vs Hardy's at Mania?
One of the bucks doing the ladder to ladder to top rope springboard senton through a table is still on of the most impressive moves I've ever seen.
No idea if it's been talked about but, Lars apparently supposed to have a program with Cena leading up to Mania and you would figure Cena would put him over, but Lars was sent home last week when he was supposed to debut. Hmmmm...
